      1. I don’t think this is the ¥3.6m pa / ¥18m total NISA. No extension of the ‘General NISA’ being extended for 5 years from 2024 to 2028. It finishes.

2. Hello,
   Is this post up to date?
   I came here trying to understand what will happen to my current NISA after the 5-year period. Am I expected to sell everything (tax-free) and buy in the New NISA?

   1. Hi – sorry no this is not up to date. The 2024 NISA has changed since I wrote this and I haven’t had time to update it.
